On Friday 21st July Elise and Molly took the holiday Club children for a trip into Leicester City Centre. They got on the Arriva bus outside of the college. The bus driver was very friendly, giving the group a family day saver ticket! (Thank you to this bus driver)
The children in the group were very excited to sit upstairs. They visited new walk museum and looked at the dinosaurs and fossils, they then made their own earthquakes and had a look at the mummies.
After they had visited the new walk museum the children took a trip over to the Newarke Houses museum where they had great fun learning about old Leicester and how it has changed over the years.
After a very busy morning site seeing in the centre the children had a well deserved trip to McDonalds, this was followed by a trip to Ye Olde Sweet Shoppe.
Both children and staff had a great day.
